I think this app offers something unique
Clearly certain people aren’t happy with this app. However, I am for the most part. I have tested many task and productivity apps and this one has a different offering. The layout and workflow are simple. Perhaps the users that aren’t happy with it organize their tasks differently, but Any.do is nice for those that like to visually see their main categories of focus. It is similar to a mindmap, but stripped down. Yes, there are far more robust and advanced tasks apps out there. Yes, Any.do has plenty of room for improvement with workflow along with minor bugs. Nevertheless, the visuals of this app pair well with how my mind prefers tasks to be organized. Other apps focus so heavily on sidebars and straight hierarchy. Any.do has visual squares for the categories and lists of your life, and then enables you to see your tasks associated with each cateogry from left to right rather than simply a top-down list.
Don’t immediately run away because of other reviews. I didn’t and I’m glad I didn’t. And you, Any.do team members, keep working. Don’t give up. The foundation here is great. Keep working out the kinks. I look forward to updates in the near future.
