Sadly, the OS X release is a massive disappointment. I had experienced two features. Signing in and 2. Crashing unexpectedly. Oh well. Moving on.

I have had an extremely positive experience with any.do. Great interface, really streamlined, clean layout…I love that it has all the functionality I need, but none of the extras that “get in the way.” Thanks for a great app, guys -
Very well thought out and well written. I enjoy using it daily. My highest reccomendation. Well done developers.
The potential is there. It’s simple and elegant design is what attracted me in the first place. It does seem to have syncing difficulties - as it is not a smooth sync and immediate.
You can’t just stretch out a touch screen device app and call it a desktop version. Very little, if any effort was made to make this an intuitive app to use given the necessary interface (mouse and keyboard). Frankyly, the Chrome extension has more stable (and convenient) functionality. If a browser extension beats your app, you’re definitely doing something wrong. Try again.
Never tried the older versions so can’t say anything about those bugs. This version however, is just a desktop version of the current web page. Nothing new or special just take the window out the browser and there you go. Does what it says on the tin. They seem to have answered all the 1star reviews on the previous versions. Remembers my login details. No need to log in to the app store (other than to download it obvs) No freezes or hangs on load.
I know this app has some terrible reviews, but I actually like it. Any.do works very well for me; I can make my lists, check them off, email them to myself and others, share them with others, and print from the app. I find it useful, perhaps I’m not using it heavily like the users having difficulty with the app. The only thing I would want from the app is for it to have a calendar view. I’ve been using the phone app for over a year and the computer app for not very long. I’m not sure how useful the computer app is, but I’ll give it a try.
This app is very simple, it absolutely lives up to what it promotes and just that. I do wish there was labels available, for better sorting. However other than that, the app is very clean, simple, and pretty easy to use, as well as the mobile app. If you get a premium popup in front of you, you can simply click in any white area and it will go away, that can be improved possibly with a clearly visble “X”. This popup only shows when you select upgrade.
Every time I open the app, it welcomes me to the new version. Every time. Enough.
It’s a good to do list app yet becomes a minor annoyance, when the welcome screen appears every time I open the app; no other problems so far in everything else.
Any.DO is so frustrating. I like the concept, but they are always so slow updating the apps. It took the forever just to get an iPad app, and now they haven’t updated for El Capitan! C’mon guys. I’m sick of seeing the intro screen every time I open the app. After it’s updated, I’ll update my review.
I’ve just dowloaded the app, and have tried to create an account in order to sync my iphone w/ my Mac. I’ve tried 4 times to create the account (both from my iphone, and from my Mac). Each attempt is unsuccessful, and I get NO feedback from the sign-up process indicating which data element is invalid (is my email address invalid? is my password invalid?, Are special characters not allowed for my password?, etc.). I’m clueless as to why I’m not able to create an account, so this app is getting deleted from my iphone and my Mac.
I started using this after Clear quit working. The same problems exist with this app, the synching across several devices does not work. That is pretty much the core feature I need with any of these apps. So I will delete this and ask for a refund. What a joke.
What the heck happened? This app used to be so great, but now it is full of bugs. Please reverse whatever changes you made in testing and/or development in the last updates. It really changed the app for the worse, big time.
I love the app and particularly the chrome extension. My team and I use it to stay organized and I use it to assign tasks. Overall it works well on that end. We have had 2 separate negative experiences trying to upgrade to premium accounts. I would think they would be a little more responsive to paying customers. When I purchased the annual subscription through itunes, my account did not upgrade, and it took 24 hours for them to fix it after I sent in the itunes receipt. Now one of my team members, who purchased via the website (trying to avoid the issue I had) is having the same issue. We contacted support 4 days ago and the issue is still not resolved. In summary, support is slow, even for users who have paid for premium accounts. So far, the net affect on productivity is not there due to the time spent resolving account issues.
I don’t know what everyone else is talking about but the app works just fine for me. Highly recommend and will continue to use! Dont listen to the comments below.
This app helps me get stuff done. Its intuitive and easy to manage; there is no fluff or over engineering. Its simple and helpful.
I just started using this app and service and so far, it does enough for what I need. I didn’t buy a premium subscription however… just don’t need it. I’ve not experienced some of the issues others are reporting, but a do have a few issues with the app. 1. The app is a gigantic screen hog! I’m a designer, so I understand negative space and the “clean look”, but when you’re look for an app for efficiency, I don’t need it to take up so much space. Please build a minimal or compact view of the app! 2. Everytime I start the app up, I get the walk-thru screen as if it’s the first time. I have to skip it every time. 3. Setting a default list just doesn’t work in the app. I have to go to the browser version and do this, then it works in the app. 4. I’m all for companies that make good products to receive fair compensation, but the “Go Premium” buttons and restrictions all over the place are a bit much. Otherwise, it’s work. Please continue to develop this app! I think it could be great!
Downloaded this app on my MacBook Pro, my iPad and iPhone. I tried the free version before spending money on the professional one. Tried setting up tasks, sub tasks and uploading some attachments. Once created I could not open the tasks to look at the sub tasks on my computer. I would open on the iPad and iPhone, but it would not show the attachments, even after syncing. When opening a task on my computer there was a 50/50 chance the task would be marked completed, even though I just wanted to open it to work on sub tasks. The app looks beautiful and should work easily, however that was not the case for me and within an hour of installing and testing, now deleted from all devices and continuing the use of reminders and notes.
So far the best I’ve tried. Just wish items could be sorted by due date.
